Eva de la Cruz is a comic book colorist with a Fine Arts degree from the Complutense University of Madrid. Her journey into visual arts didn’t begin in comics. Her first steps in the field were as a background colorist in animation studios and as a 2D designer in video games.Over time, comics became her preferred medium, not only for the format itself but also for the freedom that comes with working from home. She has had the opportunity to collaborate with publishers such asDC Comics, Vertigo, Dark Horse, IDW, AfterShock, Mad Cave Studios, Scholastic, and 2000 AD, among others. Each project has brought new challenges and valuable experiences. Some works have been especially meaningful to her, such asWe Live, a series nominated for the Eisner Awards, andBlade Forger, published by Mad Cave Studios—both by the Miranda Brothers. She is currently working on Voyeur and Arcadia withIgnition Press, an independent publisher focused on fresh and creative storytelling.Eva lives in a picturesque mountain village in Spain, where she shares her life with her partner and their beloved cats. The surrounding nature is, without a doubt, her greatest source of inspiration.
