Ignition Sequence: SDCC – Publisher Debuts Branded Merchandise Alongside First Look
Los Angeles, CA (July 21, 2025) – Ignition Press announced today that its upcoming series, The Beauty, Roots of Madness, and Arcadia, will be previewed exclusively in Ignition Press: 2025 First Look. The first look special will debut at the Ignition Press Room, the publisher’s boutique pop-up, during Comic-Con International in San Diego (SDCC) next week.

Ignition Press: 2025 First Look is a 32-page, black-and-white standalone special featuring extended previews of the first issues of The Beauty by Jeremy Haun, Jason A. Hurley, and Ema Lupacchino, Roots of Madness by Stephanie Williams and Letizia Cadonici, and Arcadia by the Miranda Brothers, all debuting in October and November 2025. Additionally, the issue includes exclusive introductions from the authors.

Ignition Press: 2025 First Look will be available with a main cover featuring a triptych of all three series by Jeremy Haun and Nick Filardi, Juliet Nneka, and Inaki Miranda and Eva de la Cruz. The special will also be available in three limited-edition covers spotlighting each series and a cover image in black and white with Ignition Press gold accents.

“When I was a fan, I always liked getting exclusive glimpses of comics,” said Ignition Press Editor-in-Chief Jamie S. Rich. “I remember being a teenager and seeing the first issue of the ongoing Grendel series from Matt Wagner printed at trading card size in black-and-white in Comics Buyer’s Guide, a comic I may not have picked up otherwise. The Ignition Press: 2025 First Look will not just give you a taste of the stories to come, but it’s a rare opportunity to see some fantastic artwork before it’s colored and admire the linework of these amazing artists in its original state.”

Fans attending Comic Con International in San Diego can purchase copies of Ignition Press: 2025 First Look at the Ignition Press Room in the Gaslamp District (643 G Street). As previously announced, Jeremy Haun, Jason A. Hurley, Stephanie Williams, and the Miranda Brothers will be in attendance for scheduled signings.

Additionally, Ignition Press will debut exclusive Ignition Press-branded merchandise on sale for the first time including a T-shirt, two enamel pins, two vinyl stickers, and premium lanyard.
