“I love stories having an ending. Even more than that, I love realizing that there are still more stories to tell-- things that need to be said. Hurley and I finished the original series of The Beauty exactly as we planned...and then spent the next few years wanting to do more,” said co-creator and writer Jeremy Haun. “And this time, we're joined by the absolutely brilliant Ema Lupacchino. The Beauty has never looked better!”

Hurley, with art by Haun, Mike Huddleston, Brett Weldele, and Stephen Green.

“This new series gives us the opportunity to explore aspects of The Beauty, the physiological changes it makes to the body, we never touched on the first time around. It’s great to be able to play around in the world we created again,” added co-creator and writer Jason A. Hurley.
Fans attending Comic Con International in San Diego can get a special sneak peek at The Beauty by visiting the Ignition Press Room in the Gaslamp District (643 G Street). Both Jeremy Haun and Jason A. Hurley will be in attendance for scheduled signings.

“The art and storytelling on this new series has the challenge of making the reader feel the dual nature of The Beauty: the good, pleasant appearance… and the dark side of it,” explained Ema Lupacchino. “I'm exploring a new visual storytelling approach, and the color too will be a
fundamental tool, that combine to create that feeling in the reader's experience.”
